I am a responsible person. I take initiative. I choose my actions, attitudes and moods. I do not blame others for my wrong actions. I do the right thing without being asked, even when no one is looking.
I plan ahead and set goals. I do things that have meaning and make a difference. I am an important part of the classroom and contribute to my school's mission and vision. I look for ways to be a good citizen.
I spend my time on things that are most important. This means I say no to things I should not do. I set priorities, make a schedule, and follow a plan. I am disciplined and organized.
I balance courage for getting what I want with consideration for what others want. I make deposits in others’ Emotional Bank Accounts. When conflicts arise, I look for third alternatives.
I listen to other people’s ideas and feelings. I try to see things from their viewpoints. I listen to others without interrupting. I am confident in voicing my ideas. I look people in the eyes when talking.
I value other people’s strengths and learn from them. I get along well with others, even people who are different from me. I work well in groups. I seek out other people’s ideas to solve problems because I know that by teaming with others, we can create better solutions than any one of us can alone. I am humble.
I take care of my body by eating right, exercising and getting sleep. I spend time with my family and friends. I learn in lots of ways and lots of places, not just at school. I find meaningful ways to help others.
I have found something that I’m good at and really like doing. I am proud, but do not boast. Instead, I use my expertise to help and inspire others.

The Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) program will help families buy food for their school-aged
children during the summer. Families will get $120 in food benefits for each eligible child.
Eligible children will receive Summer EBT food benefits on an EBT card. Families can use their Summer
EBT benefits to buy food like fruits, vegetables, meat, whole grains, and dairy at authorized retail food
stores, farmers’ markets, and anywhere else SNAP is accepted.
Most children will be automatically eligible for Summer EBT and do not need to do anything to enroll.
However, some children may need to apply. Apply online by September 4, 2025, for 2025 benefits.
Automatically Enrolled:
• The child is age 6-16 and received SNAP,
Temporary Assistance, or Medicaid at any
time in the period of eligibility.
OR
• The child has been directly certified
by their school for free/reduced-price
meals through the National School Lunch
Program during the 2024-25 school year.
• Automatically enrolled children DO NOT
need to apply.
Must Apply:
• The child is not automatically enrolled,
AND

AND

in the National School Lunch Program,
• The online application is available at
Unused Summer EBT benefits expire and are removed from the EBT card 122 days from the date they
are issued. Families should use their benefits soon after they are received.
The period of eligibility is July 1, 2024, to September 4, 2025. To learn more about Summer EBT, including
